Joanna Schnurman graduated Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky Opera Theater in 2012. She has been singing for most of her life, beginning voice lessons with her father, the renowned vocal teacher Steven Schnurman, at the tender age of 13. A soaring lyric soprano, she has appeared in numerous concerts and productions. Highlights include The Magic Flute (Mozart) in 2011, Der Freischutz (Weber) in 2011, and Miss Jessel in Turn of the Screw (Britten) in 2009.
Joanna is proud to announce that she will be joining the teaching staff at the Schnurman Voice Studio on Saturdays and Sundays!
